Ryan Nauman's Weekly Recap 05.28.19

With the shortened trading week due to the Memorial Day holiday, the highlights this week will be home prices, Q1 GDP revision and inflation. The pace of inflation growth, or lack thereof, has captured a lot of the headlines recently, as some wonder why it remains muted considering the strong labor market and increasing tariffs. Additionally, it is one of the reasons the Fed keeps rates unchanged, while markets think the Fed should cut rates because inflation remains muted. Look for inflation to remain a major talking point moving forward.
