Nethelie Wong is IGM’s Chief Asia Credit Analyst. Her role involves reporting on regional, local and international debt markets, regulatory changes, securitization, credit events and private placements.

Her areas of expertise also include evaluating funding levels between currencies, products, timing and credit profiles, and Asian debt market analysis.

Nethelie has over 20 years of global financial market exposure, particularly in the Great China region.

Before joining IGM in 2015, she worked for IFR Asia as China Credit Editor/Greater China Specialist. Her coverage included regional, local and international debt markets and regulatory changes. She also worked for MCM Asia.

She has an extensive contact base globally but especially in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This includes close relationships with regulators, lawyers, accountants, analysts and investors.

Nethelie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in finance/investments from Bernard Baruch College, City University of New York, and is a native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English and Cantonese.
